quadrophenia – live

Six months on from my last post about The Who’s ‘Quadrophenia,’ we now have details of the long-awaited UK and Europe tour dates.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the 12-date tour which runs through June into early July, starting in Dublin and climaxing in Paris and Amsterdam

In between there are gigs in most big cities in the UK.

If you’re a Who fan club member, you’ve no doubt already snapped up your tickets.

But if anyone out there is in any doubt about whether it’s worth a punt, reviews of the current American tour suggest Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey are on top form.

That’s not always been case, so hearing Daltrey perform what is by any stretch a tough ‘sing’ will be a treat.

And the documentary – ‘Quadrophenia: Can You See The Real Me?’ – which prompted my post last June, will hopefully get a repeat before then.

Neither Townshend nor Daltrey are getting any younger, so go see one of rock’s defining partnerships while you still have the chance.
